ARUSHA NATIONAL PARK DAY TRIP

You’ll start the Day with a short drive to Arusha National Park, this will take about 30 minutes (from Arusha). From here we’ll start driving through the beautiful green surroundings of Arusha National Park to spot some local wildlife. All this with a stunning view of Mt. Meru on the background.

TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK DAY TRIP

Tarangire National Park is primarily famous for the abundance of age-old baobabs and big families of elephants gathering in the vicinity of the main water source – the Tarangire River. Besides baby elephants and their parents the Tarangire is home to zebras, giraffes, hyenas, wart-hogs, buffalos and many other predators and ungulates.

The park will also be a treat for bird enthusiasts. More than 550 bird species abiding in the Tarangire National Park present ample opportunity for bird watching: brightly plumaged yellow necked spurfowls, white crowned shrikes and black necked weavers are among the most frequent sightings here.

NGORONGORO CRATER DAY TRIP

You’ll depart from Arusha at the crack of dawn for the long but scenic drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way, you’ll pass bustling Maasai villages and sweeping plains dotted with acacia and the occasional giraffe or wildebeest.

We will proceed to Ngorongoro crater for a game drive, which is the 8th natural wonder of the world and the unique, world famous caldera with the most abundant wildlife. We will descend into the Ngorongoro crater floor.

From the comfort of your open-top vehicle, descending down the crater, you will enjoy amazing panoramic view and if you are lucky, you will see the Big five.

The caldera is exhibiting more than 120 species of mammals. We will also visit saline lakes such as Lake Magadi, which is a magnet for flamingos and other water birds.

We will see pools full of hippos, the endangered East Africa’s last black rhinos including birds such as secretary bird, white stork arriving from Europe during the wet season, kori bustards, crowned cranes and ostriches. It is for sure a landscape of sheer beauty. Another big draw card to this picturesque park is its dense population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever-elusive leopard, which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot.

MATERUNI FALLS DAY TOUR

A tour to Materuni Village and Waterfalls is a great way to spend a day away from the bustle of town life. The walk to Materuni Waterfall offers a glimpse into the nature of Tanzania.
The Materuni Waterfall tour starts with a walk through the area adjacent to the waterfall, rich in beautiful natural scenery of Tanzania. It is an opportunity to see how local fruit like avocados, mangos, lemons, and bananas grow, as well as learn some of the local history, traditions, village economy, agricultural and cultural life. The tour will continue with a visit to the local village lying in the coffee plantations. The villagers will demonstrate the process of coffee farming and guide you through the preparation of coffee from a bean to a cup.
